Square Cutters
Brush Set
Silicone Baking Cups
Ruler
Paring Knife
Ingredients

Ready-To-Use White Rolled Fondant
Buttercream icing
Edible Color Markers
Procedure
Making the sweet baby topping. As said earlier, these little baby cupcake toppings are just as easy as decorating your regular cupcake. First you have to make the individual parts: the head, hands, and finally the body. For the head and hands, you need to hue some 1 ½ inches of fondant ball with light brown or with your desired skin tone. To make the head, roll an inch fondant ball and have 1/8 inches portion for the nose. Attach the part using damp brush. Then draw the remaining parts (particularly eyes and mouth) through edible color markers. Use 3/8 inches fondant ball for the hands and attach to the head with damp brush. Make the cute little fingers by making lines in the hands using a paring knife. Make a white oval fondant (with dimensions 1 ¼ in x ¾ in) that would serve as the body. Indent body at the center and attach the back of the head with damp brush.
Cupcakes: Preparing the Sweet Babies’ Bed. Bake the cupcakes and cool them in silicone cups with cookie sheets for support. Smooth the butter icing at the cupcakes’ head and position miniature baby parts afterwards. Use icing color to hue 1 ½ inches balls to have the baby blankets; you could freely choose the colors that you want, two colors will do. Roll all fondant with a thickness of 1/6 inches. From the remaining plain fondant, cut a 3 ½ in. x 3 in. piece to have the blanket’s base piece. Cut out five squares from each color and attach them alternately onto the base, smoothing the gaps with fingers. Allow ample space for the white base to show demarcation of the colored squares. Position the blanket in the baby figure. Finally, make the pacifier using ¼ inches oval fondant with food color and roll out 1/16 inches plain for the center. Attach the final piece with damp brush.
Many say the baby toppings are time consuming to make, but wait, aren’t those cute little baby toppings too sweet to worth your time making them? And that’s the great way to survey the Godfathers and Godmothers about their guess: is it a boy or is it a girl? Surely, these cute little angels on every bite would be the cutest babies in the party.
